Neither are really common bikes. The aftermarket parts availability is basically zero and none of the custom work adds any value to the bike. Some people go crazy with an one of a kind build, throw tens of thousands of dollars into it and then are surprised when it comes time to trade it in, than nobody will give more than book value.
The other issue with custom anything is it is all taste specific.
