i have a 2003 suzuki intruder vs 800 and i can not find in my haynes manual what the torque specification should be for the clutch springs

thanks rich i have searched everywhere and could not find that information my buddy stay just snug them up!!!! nice bike thanks again

My shop manual says it's good for '02-'09 and it states the bolts should be torqued to 10 N.m (1.0 kgf.m, 7.0 lb-ft), but if you convert it to lb-in you'll get 84 lb-in. They snap easy, but I doubt 4 lb-in will do it. 3 lb-ft, however will.

The smallest torque wrench I was able to find was 10 lb-ft. I tried to set it a bit under, where 7 would have been, but when the wrench says 10 is the minimum, they mean it. The head sheered off just as I thought about backing off and I spent a week trying to get new bolts.
