What a Great November day. High of 72 but a wind blowing about 20-30 MPH. Cloudy here in Springfield. Its been raining drissling and high in the 40's for about 2 weeks until a few days ago.As they say in the Ozarks, if you don't like the weather, just wait a few days and it will change. I HAD TO RIDE. After changing oil, Mrs. Windrider and I decide to go for a ride with no real plans, which we do a lot.

Normally we ride the back country roads but today we take the four lane and stop in Ozark to deliver a Flask that I engraved for my friend Dave who runs Wholesale Direct in Ozark, Mo. He had asked me to engrave a flask with "Live to Ride" an Eagle, and a Ride to Live" rocker below. He Runs a Biker Leather, Knive, Motorcycle Accessory shop there and has a traveling show that goes all across the country. He Loved it!

We decided to ride to Branson through the Ozark Hills and twisties. Wearing full leathers it was very comfortable on the four lane. After arriving on 76(Country Blvd.) We crept down the Blvd. mostly in 1st gear for about 15 minutes behind the usual Branson Traffic past Country Music Shows, Tourist Attractions such as waterparks, go carts and bunjee jumping and stopped at the Outback for Alligator Tail and a (only one) cold one. When we returned to our bike in the parking lot a little old man with a cane was looking it over closely and telling us what a Good Looking Maching it was!

Dark comes early in November, and it decended upon us as we rode back knowing this was a SPECIAL DAY for Nov. Although this was not a very long ride.... Still the temperature, the company, and the scenery made this a day to remember because winter will be here in Full Force soon, or maybe we will get lucky again this year.

I had some deep fried Gator Tail a while ago. It was treat and goes good with a beer.
Sounds like a great day to be out and about. Well, any day is but with the sun out it makes it a lot more enjoyable, doesn't it?
