I recently bought a 2003 Intruder Valusa I don't ride it much I took it for a ride the other day down the street started up just fine got to where I was going a few blocks away I turned it off went to restart it and it will not restart just keeps turning over not sure why

If it's turning over but not starting, it's either a fuel or fire issue most likely. If it's got gas in it, check for spark and fuel delivery.

check the choke cable at the carb....when they break, bike no start even though choke knob moves like normal.

Another thing to check is the vacuum line at the fuel petcock. Since the water etc ok is vacuum activated if there is a vacuum leak then there’s a good chance that the petcock isn’t opening and allowing the fuel to get through.

Yes I leave it full during winter

Yes it does not seem like its firing will it stop just like that what would cause this failure I just rode it and all was working fine

When I pull the choke I can hear it rev at faster speed but no start I can hear a difference when I give gas also

I don't have a petcock that you can turn gas on and off which I thought was odd first.time I saw this and I've had many bikes

I guess I should have proof read what I typed.
It should have said that since the fuel petcock is vacuum activated a vacuum leak on that hose will cause the fuel petcock to not open.
