You might think that but its basically 100 pounds heavier than the GS, no automatic stability control, not as powerful. It might give the Ducati 1200 Multistrada a run for its money... since it's not going to be sold in the US, I just don't know. The GS (and you've seen mine) is certainly a nicer bike, but the Tenere is about a 15,000 bike. That's without goodies.

I'd still pick the GS if I was picking. But the Tenere will kill the 1000 Strom and the 1000 strom is a super bike. The Europeans get a lot of nice ADV tourers to choose from. But they also still know who the king is. And the king isn't that much more expensive.

I like the fact everyone is raising the bar. The Gs's success led to that. The new, 2010 GS makes the tenere look like a Honda cub, More horsepower, less weight, exhaust performance enhancement.... just a raft of new features....
