Went riding with the club on Sunday, when we stopped for fuel a guy on a 04 Harley Ultra Classic with slip on Vance and Hines was bitching that he couldn't hear his music unless he was 5 bikes ahead of me, I just laughed and said no problem the wife and I will ride sweep.

So I am guessing that ATGATT includes earplugs? If not it should...

Of course it's louder. Without baffles they are just straight pipes. Any motor ever made is going to be ungodly loud when running straight pipes, regardless of the manufacturer.

I had the same pipes and had to wear earplugs - can't imagine them without baffles. Thing is that the 800cc motor hits a higher pitch that seems to cut through everything and that's probably what your riding buddies are noticing. My Street Glide has true duals that are way louder than the Bully ever hoped it would be, but because it's at a lower pitch it's nowhere near as ear splitting.
