As i see. The later model c50's have a fuel gauge in their speedo. Wondering if anyones put one of these with the fuel gauge into an 05 model that doesnt originally have one

No. It would require additional wiring harness as well as additional fuel sensors in the gas tank.

I have an 08. I rarely pay attention to the fuel gauge anymore. I use the mileage reset almost exclusively because The bars on the gauge don't change at a linear rate. You'll be half a tank for a long time, then BAM your down to flashing bars freaking out that you need to find a gas station.

+ 1 - I focused more on my trip odo than the fuel gauge.
