General Information

Intruder Volusia
Anniversary Edition
Bought the bike in 2005 in Arizona and did not ride as often as I would have liked, because I had two small children to take with me almost everywhere! (We used the white 2004 Ford Mustang Anniversary Edition Convertible to get around. It wasn't an intentional pattern!) She came with the full dress package including the studded leather seats, saddlebags, passenger seat, backrest and windshield bag. The only damage she had was a 1.5" chip off the very back lip of the back fender. If I remember correctly, there were about 3,000 - 5,000 miles. The only modification the PO made was to add speakers wired to the headlamp.

I never did the upkeep on my cars, trucks or motorcycles because I wasn't really taught how while I was growing up. My brother showed the most potential, and I was interested in electronics and computer-based things, as well as creative stuff (I could do any kind of body work, but keep me away from under the hood.) It was just the way we went in our different paths. Not a problem because we balanced each other out. If he couldn't do it, I could and vice versa.

Recently, I have had some issues with my truck and didn't have the money to have someone else take care of it. I got on Amazon, bought some parts and took the engine apart. There were YouTube videos and forums like this that I used to help me through because my dad and brother couldn't necessarily help at midnight when I was able to work on it. Since that was relatively doable, I decided my bike and I should finally bond. I knew I needed this forum, and here I am!
