DCinCT surprised...your kind of game...big back in the 60's...usually played in the city where space was at a premium...mostly found where a supermarket was where a big wall would provide the needed playing field...basicly a game of handball where instead of just hitting the ball up against the wall, a playing field was created by outlining on the concrete/ground 5 boxes side by side more or less 3 feet wide by 5 feet long...labeled ace, king, queen, (probably the box you'd take for obvious reasons)jack and 10...

The guy in the first box...ace box...box on the far left, served into the other boxes and point was s cored when any player was unable to keep the ball in play. If you missed or was unable to hit it into any of the boxes, you got a point...5 points you're out...first 3 players to get 5 points have to kneel up against the wall with their a$$'s up in the air providing a target for the other 2 players to fling the ball at...winners kept throwing until you missed 3 times...Spaulding was ball of choice in those days...stung like a bee when it hit your rear end,,,players learned to put a lot of spin on the ball when they went to hit the ball making it harder to guess where the ball would bounce once it landed in opposing players box...older guys often played for money..fun to watch.
