Mitch Hyre I had a 12v wired in the tool compartment for years. Mostly used it to hook trickle charger in the winter. I got a $6 Eklipes and holder on Ebay a few weeks ago. Now I can use it to charge phone, power gps and convenient hook up to the charger. Cheap, easy and oh so versatile.

I never had an issue with the Eklipse on my bike for the 10 years I had it

Maybe they were rough on it. I've never had a problem. I could buy 3 or 4 for what the Eklipse cost and I wanted black, not chrome. Now we can wait another 10 years for someone to post...lol

10-64 This is what I used.....................

Worked great, and also had a USB port. Comes with a weather proof cap

Mounted it on the Handle Bar, right beside the GPS. Wired it into the headlight bucket so I didn't have to remember to turn it off all the time
