Jdimmy Thanks for all the help!

guitarjim Don't worry, no matter the tires, the sparks flying from your floorboards will let you know you are too aggressive in the curves. The c50 is not a curvalicious ride for ripping it down the road. That being said, when you sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery with the curves, you will have a great time. Chicken strips can't be avoided on the c50. It is a cruiser and a pretty good one at that.

Chedell Check the pressure often, you won't ever have cupping.

Skrapiron The Metzlers are night and day better than the stock IRC. Longer wearing, better grip and they aren't as likely to cup as badly as the IRC does as it wears.

FireManC50 How are the IRC GS-23 Grand High Speed Tires that come stock with C50? How do they compare to options suggested above?

Skrapiron You will like the Metzlers. Hands down the best tire I have ever ridden on.

scorpion46 Remember they will be slick so go easy on the straights and especially in the corners till the preservative they put on them wears off. I almost learned the hard way.

Whiskey Metzler ME880's are popular for being a good price while still having good functionality. I couldn't get them the last time I bought tires though so I went with the ME888's and was happy with the purchase.

scorpion46 I've heard nothing but glowing reviews on the new Metzler tire for cruisers. I can't think of the exact name, but they are suppose to be fantastic according to the trial riders.
Don't forget to go easy for atleast the first 100 miles to get the storage chemicals off them.
