RiderRon We just had a 10 cent a gallon tax added to cover “road/bridge repairs” and upgrading or ports. I know we already had a tax for that but looking at the condition of the roads throughout the state clearly the monies are being used elsewhere.
It’s the same as any other big corporations, they work together to control prices.

Don't get used to it Skrap. The bill is deadlocked right now because they can't decide HOW MUCH to increase the gas tax. Dewine wants .11/.20 per gallon increase of gas/diesel. The senate passed a .06 last week. Dewine has to sign it Sunday to have it take effect 7/1. So this summer, you probably aren't going to see the relief from crossing the border that you are used to seeing.

DCinCT the last time I went to visit my daughter in Tenn...early march, I paid $1.85 a gallon there. Ct right now $2.54...

Skrapiron I go over into Ohio and gas goes from $2.859 per gallon to $2.359 per gallon. The difference is all taxes.

I invaded Montana for a few days in my F150. Filled up from bone dry in Kalispell for $65 US./$87 Can.
I can't fill my truck here at home for $75 US / $100 Can.!

Here they always blame it on switching over to summer blend fuel, though I'd think they'd have that pretty much dialed in after all these years.
