Fizgurd Heya RV - So very sorry to hear about the crash . I am glad you are okay / mending well and that you picked up a new bike! I'm looking forward to the pics of it as well. May it give you many great miles of smiles.

I'm so leery of running out of fuel on a new bike I end up carrying a can with me for the first few weeks just in case, as I test just how far I can push it on the low fuel light.....

guitarjim Been out of town... Glad you are up and able to share about your accident. Hopefully, you're not still sore and the road rash is healing well. Sorry you have to say goodbye to your bike.

rvcycleguy Well, the new to me RK is going well. Ridden quite a lot of miles in 3 weeks. Ran out of fuel on Sun. Running pretty hard to meet a girlfriend for a day ride 2 up and was late. The low fuel light came on 30 or so miles back...I was cruising about 80 and angling for the exit off the highway when the engine died. Coasted almost to the pump but not quite. About 50 yards short or so. Pushed it the rest of the way. Friendly motorist gave me a final push up the driveway incline. Filled it up and on my way to meet her a block away. Lol.

Road rash and sore spots have healed well. No health issues. All between the ears now. Still nervous about coming in too hot in a tight corner. Overcompensating is good. Slow is life saving.
