Prunepicker I've never ridden a bike through Maggie Valley but have
driven through it many, many times over the past 50+
years. MV is absolutely gorgeous. I remember when the
gift shops were almost new.

Two stops should include Wedding Veil Falls and Hidden
Falls. If you're traveling with a lady love you'll need extra
cash for Highlands. Make that a lot of extra cash.

oldtraf Also like to say thanks to Biker Pop for showing us around the area. They were some nice mountain roads you showed us Pop. I was really shocked when I saw your goats . I'd also advise anyone to stay at the Applecover Inn. Beautiful part of the country.

Maggie Valley, NC

Kettlinton, oldtraf, Biker Pop and I are just coming out of a gift shop late Saturday afternoon on Rte 19 in Maggie Valley, NC when we see a C50 ride by. The rider sees our bikes, turns around and comes back to check us out. It turns out the other rider is c50tnc who lives a few miles away and was out running an errand.

Ended up having about an hour chat. Great guy. Good with a wrench - you should see what he was able to do with a HD fairing.

I hope his wife knows how running errands on a bike can take longer than normal.

Anyway, thanks for stopping, tnc. It was a pleasure to meet you.
