Bama J Returned to ride it again last Friday. Was just as much fun the 2nd time around.

I had no idea how close my pipes come to dragging on the right side, but the floorboard does scrape first.

I was going to drop them in this thread, but I could have sworn the title was Volusias on the Dragon.

It was just coincidence that it happened to surface again... or maybe it was fate...

Not sure if you can see the pics unless you're a member, I joined over there awhile ago.

How big is the dude in the third pic? That C50 looks like a Sportster with him on it!

At the Gap, that can be a problem when the ditch is the edge of a wooded cliff.

I actually prefer some of the surrounding roads such as the Cherahola Skyway, Hwy 28 and the Foothills Parkway north of the Dragon. Nice sweeping curves and you can cruise along at a nice easy clip. Of course the Blue Ridge Parkway is always a must when you are riding in the Appalachians.
I am a little concerned about that as well and I definitely have the Cherohala Skyway and Blue Ridge Pkwy in my sights. I do prefer gentler sweeping curves to tight twisty roads, but I guess I just want to give it one shot to say I did it.
