Lost A Retired USAF-SAC Captain

My 91 year old uncle, who served as a Captain in the US Air Force Strategic Air Command, throughout the cold war period, has passed away at 91 years of age.
He left us Tuesday night, just before midnight.....we're so going to miss his wisdom and candor.

Oh man, sorry to hear this. He sounds like a great man. He was among the greatest generation of this country. I thank him for his service. He gave us all these freedoms that we now have. Sounds like he led a great life. May he rest in peace.

Ok..I was NOT home-schooled, but that is neither hear nor their.

Deepest condolences to the family. Sorry to hear that you and America lost a hero.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.

Prayers to you and your family.. I’m AF myself..
“Off we go into the wild blue yonder, climbing high into the sun!”

Taps is played at the end of the duty day on military bases world wide and signals the end of the duty day. It is also played as a farewell to a military member so it is appropriate that we honor your uncle here and thank him for his service!

Rest well my friend!
