woodstock?

so what happened...first it was on...then it was off..then it was on...now the musicians are bailing...wtf? Remember recently watching a Netflix show about some weekend concert you'll never forget to be held on some island somewhere...great idea ...unfortunately so poorly planned anyone who bought tickets were the biggest losers.... and the tickets were far from cheap....Barnum & Bailey would have been proud...and yet this saga continues to happen every day....like they say all too often..if it sounds too good to be true.....

Whats the big hurry...slow down and enjoy the ride!

It's going to be held in a 32000 seat arena in Maryland.

when.....2025?...they talked about this last year...would have figured before they went public they would have had some sort of idea of wtf they were getting into...a 32k arena pretty much sounds like a great way to make $$$...limit the seating and charge mega bucks only the rich can afford who doesn't really care about the concert or the music for the priviledge of saying...yes siree...I was there...or ...I'm going...how about you?

Here's the info Dennis. John Fogerty is going to celebrate it correctly.

lame to say the least...didn't the original have close to half a mill concert goers...not surprised they couldn't get the permits needed to pull it off after the first Woodstock experience...have read some good stories on the original Woodstock, where it was suppose to be held, where it ended up being held, problems associated with it and yet somehow for the most part people proved they could somehow get along even if just for the weekend.

They should try again somewhere in the wilds of Montana...better there than Washington DC...wonder if The TrumpMeister will be there in the front row...then again he'll probably buy all 32k tickets and resell them on stub hub for 10x the price...

It's a shame to even call it Woodstock.
Woodstock was what it was, and the proceeds weren't slated for whirrled peas, or saving sexually disoriented squeegies.

If anything, it should just be called another not so really big concert.

It sounds like they'd have better luck recreating the sinking of the Titanic.

a true music fan would not consider this Woodstock...nice idea for a concert perhaps but definitely nothing that should carry the Woodstock name. But then what would they do with all those warehouses full of tee shirts and memorabilia that have already been printed...

Whats the big hurry...slow down and enjoy the ride!

Do something inherently causeworthy.
Give them to the homeless!

better yet...take all the money from the ticket sales and give it to a worthy cause instead of the lame bs voter turnout activist groups...really...that's the best cause they can come up with...be funny if nobody went.
