If your pants will hold them CE armor in the knees.
I wear bohn armored pants under my Kevlar jeans.
I’m in the been down club and it sucks but it would have been much worse without my gear.
I’d add steel toe boots to the list, I didn’t have mine on and spent 13 months rehabbing strained ligaments in my right toe.
I almost put on my half helmet before that ride and that would have been a huge mistake because my chin was the first thing to hit the ground.

While I understand the attraction of half and 3/4 helmets, for that feeling of wind and freedom, I just can't get past the studies and statistics on head injuries and their location. Anyone that reads them, and is smart will see the enormous benefits of a full-faced helmet. I understand they aren't for everyone, but then again, I'm not into Russian Roulette either.

Also, if you wear a helmet, you need to put the following label on both sides of it. It may prevent you from being paralyzed. (Available on amazon.com)
CAUTION IF RIDER IS INJURED DO NOT REMOVE HELMET
