Hey guys and girls! If you are in the lower MS/AL area and want to ride for a great cause this weekend. There is a benefit cruise starting at the VFW near Keesler AFB. A friend and one of our reservists, Josh Thompson was struck by a truck on his bike going through an intersection and knocked into the opposing lane of traffic and dragged underneath a corvette. Bystanders lifted the corvette up off of him.
He had to be life flighted to a local hospital where he was in a coma for a few weeks. He sustained extensive life threatening injuries. He has maintained a sense of humor and great attitude and he was up and walking again in late Aug with assistance.

The accident was in April of this year and neither of the other parties had any insurance!
Flyer is attached if you or anyone you know is interested in supporting this event.

I won’t make the ride this time, so thank you in advance for your support!

Thanks, Ron!

I couldn't make it, but hopefully it goes well. Your pic is pretty low resolution and impossible to read. Any chance there's a website? Some of us might be willing to make a donation to the cause, even if we can't be in the ride.

Edit: I guess I gave up trying to read the flyer before I got to the bottom of it. The GoFundMe address is clear enough.

For convenience, here it is:

Thanks guys!
I noticed the pic looked funny when I opened but I could make it out.
The original looks fine so I may try uploading from my laptop my phone sucks!
The go fund me page is the only web presence that I know of and I just found out about it last Friday but I’ll check, they may have a FB Page devoted to him but I don’t do FB.

I wanted to give an update. Thank you all for prayers and well wishes.
It’s been a long tough road for Josh but he has recovered enough to return to work and is back with us in our reserve unit for weekend drills! He also bought himself a 2014 Street Glide last month and rode 250 miles his first day back in the saddle!
He rode with 2 of his buddies and he said that was one of the best rides he ever had in his and he missed being on 2 wheels and he just couldn’t stay away..
