RIP Professor

The Buckeyes lost a great one tonight. My best friend's father. He taught honors physics at the Ohio State University. The man was smarter than words can express, but took an interest in everything under the sun. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor and no matter who you were, he made you feel like you were the smartest person in the room. This is a man who would devise and solve some of the most complex physics equations I've ever seen - and he did that just for fun - to stay sharp. He came to this country the right way - in 1948 when he was just 18, straight from China and couldn't speak a lick of English. He lived a good life and I know I'm a better person just for knowing him. This note is just cathartic for me...I haven't seen him in many years...passed up if you need to either mend fences, say thank you's or I'm sorry's to it while you have the chance and don't pass up your opportunities like I did.
purplenova and Kuzmandew like this.

Ok..I was NOT home-schooled, but that is neither hear nor their.

So sorry to hear. Condolences to the family. A person like that is always tough to lose.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.
