When Will Your Heart Attack Arrive?

Or so asks the TV advertisement for a low dose aspirin. In my case, mine arrived the morning of March 22nd. I was trimming some high tree branches with a telescoping pole saw to keep the squirrels off the roof and “Wham”. My breast bone felt like someone buried a dull hatchet six inches deep. I was able to walk inside, called 911 myself and then let my wife know. Everything after that for the next eight days while I was hospitalized is just a blur. Good drugs I guess.

Home and on the mend. I have to wear a Life Vest defibrillator and will need to have one implanted in early July. I start cardiac rehab the 20th. I hope to get back riding by late July but may need to step down from that 800 pound Gold Wing. Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say hello and let you know I will miss the Yankee Rally. Was counting on riding the Wing up from Kentucky with the wife. Maybe in 2016.

Ride safe and I will look in from time to time.

You don't need to tell me 12 times; 11 usually does it.

Man that sucks - glad you were able to get in and call 911

Prayers heading out for a speedy recovery.

Glad to hear that you made it. This outcome could have been worse.
Rest up, and take it easy. They'll always been another riding season!

It seems to happen for no reason...........but it's survivable. Do what the docs recommend and you'll be riding before you know it. Good wishes to you.

Lead, or follow, but just stay out of my way.
