I hope he knows we're rootin for him.
I ran over a bottle at 70 in the passing lane coming home from OctoVRfest. It made me wonder what could have happened. Fortunately it kicked out.

Two of my riding buddies hit a wheelbarrow at night on their way to Sturgis a few years ago. Both of them sent to hospital.

Can you believe it, a frikken wheelbarrow ????????????

When I want to read a really good Harley thread, I just turn to VolusiaRiders.com

I almost got decapitated by a wheel barrow that bounced out of the back of a contractors truck (to this day I stay away from any truck carrying stuff in the back). You never know what will and can be in the road!

Some news, via Facebook:

First update from his wife:

Just heard from trauma nurse. They are finishing now, things went well. They did have to give him 2 units of blood but she says that wasn't a big deal. He'll be in recovery for 45 mins after surgery and then he'll be moved back to ICU. Will hear from neurosurgeon while ICU nurse is doing her assessment and then I will be able to go back down to ICU.

Second update:

Neurosurgeon just left; he says everything went well. They found more ligament damage than expected from MRIs. They also used a longer rod than expected because the damage was further down than showed on MRIs. Definitely was better to go with surgery than a brace due to these things. I have to wait an hour before going down to TICU so they can get him situated. And he'll be in a lot of pain in the next two days.

Please keep the prayers coming for our brother Tim.

Not much news this morning. People who visited him yesterday reported that he was pretty much 'out of it' thanks to the pain meds he was on.

Please continue your prayerful support of our brother Tim.
