Last night, Son was at Turtle Jacks for a surprise "happy anniversary" for friends. Knowing it was a surprise, and knowing that "they" would recognize his bike, he parked in the public parking lot (as opposed to parking up close to the front door kinda thing). He came out two or three hours later, noticed his mirror had been folded in. Then he saw his indicator on the ground...and then he saw all the scratches and cracks on his fairings.

So someone drove into his bike, knocked it over...but his/her GOOD SIDE set the bike back up, but his/her BAD SIDE left -- hit and run!

SO SAD. He is devestated. The damage isn't such that he can't ride the bike, but there was not a mark on it. It was in mint condition, and he was just about to put it up for sale in order to upgrade.

We played detective but none of the shops in the area had a camera to catch the culprit.

sad.

The "bad side" ......... someone stole the plate off my buddies bike downtown yesterday ......... the "good side" ........... they took the time to put the plate bolts back in place.

I agree with 10-64: No age is good to die... on a motorcycle or otherwise
