** VR Relief Fund & address for cards for Jim/VOL210

As we always have done, in time of need after an accident we have opened up the VR RELIEF FUND. We ask only of those that have something to give and know that the old line "pay it forward" truly are words to live by.

So without further rambling, we have opened the relief fund for VOL210.. For those that don't know him or of him.. Jim isnt a big talker/poster, but he has been a member of the original VOL site and a member here since 2002 (he's been around a long time)....

Jim is a biker's biker, skilled, educated, technical, caring and just good people. I am so thankful that Jim is alive, I have already shed to many tears over loss this year and I am thankful that God has spared Jim.

I was so happy to spend some time with Jim two weeks ago at the Frederickson rally.. him and his cigars, and wishing he could get into the The Volusianators stash (we discussed that) .. we laughed and caught up and were surprised it had been so long since we had seen each other...

So here it is...
Send your donations via paypal to:
[email protected]

for those of you who do not have paypal, please drop me a note and I will send you my address for checks.

please write in the comments for VOL210. The expense of this accident is unknown at this time, but the fact that he has now lost his lower left leg should be a sign of the expenses to come.

God Bless you all.

Julie / aVOL2

Rick & Robert, thanks.

Jim is one of my closest buddies here on the sight so this hits pretty hard. Times are tough right now for many I know, but anything you can give will help out. Even if it's just a few dollars, it all ads up. Thanks.

Jim has been here since the beginning.. never a big talked as he spent most of his time riding and working on Volusia.... It is because of people like Jim that this forum and the VOL site succeeded.. They were the pioneers not only with the bike but the Forums....

I'm giving this a bump......

right on, julie! and another. recovery is really gonna be a long row to hoe. once jim is up and talking, maybe we can roust jason (aka kripple) to help talk him into a good place about the leg. that's so sad. and it's going to be SO expensive, i know from talking to jason.

* - reminder that anything purchased from the VR Store over the next month will have $1 of the transaction donated to the relief fund for Jim.
