Glad to hear he is OK. I had a chance to meet and ride with him in Fl. Let him know we are thinking about him.

Ok, just got back from the hospital.

He is doing pretty well, they moved him out of ICU about an hour before we got there. The biggest injuries are to his right forearm and his legs, they said 2nd and 3rd degree on both legs and right forearm. He still has sensation and movement in all three though, so the burns didn't go too deep. He has some superficial burns on his left arm and his face (but don't worry, he'll be prettier than Ken again in a month or two...) He's in a lot of pain, but aware enough to complain about the foley. He was obviously fighting the pain meds to stay awake so we were only there 30-45 minutes. We missed June, she wasn't up there yet.

I've got the phone number to his room, if anyone wants to call, send a PM.

I think the phrase was "get this **** out of my ****".....

He was in good spirits. It could have been a lot worse but thankfully it wasn't. He was near a acetylene torch that blew. The fire also took out a couple of vehicles, a good part of the building and a propane tank on the back of a forklift.

It will be a long recovery but he should come out of it OK.

And you said you wouldn't quote it...

I forgot to mention the fire... One thing to mention, and those who know him won't be surprised, is that he shoved the kid using the torch out of the way of the inital fireball. The kid was treated and released last night.
