"Goody" September 7, 2005 RIP and Godspeed

I found out yesterday when I was in hospital for my monthly post leukemia checkup that "Goody", a friend and fellow cancer victim, did not make it. We were admitted the same day, both our first rounds failed, second went well, but he did not get into remission as I was fortunate too, after the third and never did the fourth. Life can be a *****, but I know his suffering was not in vain. We talked, laughed and cried together over the last several months, and I will miss him....

Godwin “Goody” Carachi Passes
September 15, 2005

Horseman Godwin “Goody” Carachi passed away after a battle with leukemia last Wednesday, September 7.
Carachi, of Acton, Ontario, would have turned 60 this Sunday. He will be sadly missed by Ann, Brett, Kirk, Angela, Sharron, grandchildren and his extended family.
In his retirement, Carachi most loved his farm, animals and standardbred horses.
Services were held over the weekend. Remembrances to The Leukemia Research Fund would be appreciated by the family.
Condolences to Goody Carachi’s family and friends.
