Volusia Rider Down & Could Use Your Prayers

I got this e-mail from Joe (Coilguy) today and thought I'd share it with you as many of you know Paul.

From Joe...

"I have not been to any of the sites for a week or so I just travel too much
to sign on any more. On my way home from AR last night I got a call from
Paul Fannin who will be refered to from now on as Fringe. He was in a
terrible car accident before Christmas and was in the Hospital for weeks. I
would include a pic of his car but it is just too frickin scary. He is now
out of the hospital in a cast for his shattered leg and messed up knee, his
shoulder and right arm are in a sling and they don't know what to do with
them yet. His neck and back are uncertian and he lost 2 teeth. It was a head
on with a truck and we are pretty lucky to still have Fringe around. Some
guys are just to tough or mean to not stay around.

Anyway to my point, i don't know if this has been posted on any site yet. If
so sorry for the repitition. I asked Fringe what he needs and what we can do
for him. I know when ever something happens we ask for money to help, there
is the tsnami, and all the other things going on. So I am not going to ask
anyone for a dime. Fringe is home now in a cast, he can't walk up the stairs
to get to his computer but twice a week. He can't work, basically he can't
do anything. When he called last nite we talked for 45 minutes about all
kinds of ****. He needs people to call him and cheer him up before he goes
stir crazy just sitting at home.

Here is his phone number 847-909-9853 please use it , If you are inclined to
say a prayer please take a minute and say on on his behalf. He wants to be
up and riding by the RNR, if he is not I will give him a ride down there.
Please lets get on the phone and help a buddy who needs to hear from his
friends. It's not much to ask for a guy who would give his all for any of
us. If I forgot anyone or you know someone who knows fringe and might want
to know whats up with him please let them know and ask them to call him too.

Thanks For Reading

Wow Sorry to hear this bad news. I've met Fringe several times and know him as a great guy. He's done a tremendous job on getting patches for us for our fallen members in the past too.
Someone please tell him I say Hi and to get well soon for me as I don't use telephones. As bad as this accident is I'm thankfull he's still around. If he'd have been on the bike it probably would be him we would need the next fallen member patch for. Hate to think that, so am gratefull he'll be around and up, hopefully soon for a full recovery.
Fringe if you read this you know you have my support. You need something just ask.

I haven't met fringe yet but I have read a lot of his post and he seems like a real decent guy.

I wish you well fringe and hope you are fully recovered in time to make the trip to the RNR, get well.
