A message to the Admin......

It seems that the majority public would like a change in the color scheme.

The colors surrounding the text area are OK, but it seems that most people don't particularly care for the light blue/dark blue scheme.

How about some simple colors?

The light blue on black isn't my favorite, but at least I can read it. My problem is the white lettering on the light gray flamed header/footer bars. Even the light gray buttons (i.e. submit, preview, etc...) get lost in the bars.

Hmm, "majority public" eh? Somehow I doubt that This site has had this look for quite some time and though questions have been raised about it from time to time (usually by newer members) the general concencus has been that it should stay as it is.

Now I have been looking in to creating a new look at feel (not to replace the default but a second look that users can choose from their profile) which would complement the new burgendy / red colorscheme that Suzuki has chosen to represent their Boulevard line. But that probably won't happen for a while as I have programming changes to make to the site first.

(BTW, moving topic to VR.Com issues to be on topic).

I agree with you on this one and it's something I'm trying to track down. The software this site is running is designed to use a configuration to set the colors, but for some reason some areas are hard coded for color. I'm slowly going through the code to correct that problem.

As soon as I've been able to fix those color bugs we will have dark lettering on the grey and image bars and it will be much easer to read.
