How do I adjust preload on my '91 Intruder 750?

I've been riding 2up and noticed I will sometimes bottom out on certain dips in the road and driveways.

I can't really tell if my shocks are adjustable or not (no spanner wrench in tool kit either). Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You may have it set on factory settings (Softest #1) #5 being the stiffest...need spanner wrench for sure...Good luck...

Check your brake light wires for fraying. When mine bottomed out on vacation, the tire wore thru the insulation and wires broke.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.

How'd ya make out Kenny? The spanner wrench you'd need to perform this is in your bike's toolbag.
