Lowering Kit GoneWrong

I have a 2005 c50. Recently i committed to bobbing and lowering it. After putting on a 2” drop kit, i can not get the left side rear chrome cover back on. Right side aligned perfectly and went on in a breeze. I’ve looked at pics and video and no one else seems to have this problem. My bolts don’t line up and I’m completely clueless as to what I’ve done. Can anyone help?

If you put on your lowering kit correctly which I'm assuming you did I can see absolutely no reason that the Chrome cover will not go back on except that you are Miss aligning the holes. Check to make sure that you didn't use a screw hole for something else where the Chrome cover screw hole belongs. I also lowered my bike which is an O7 and no problems I've taken my Chrome cover off multiple times for different reasons

Isn't that the cover with the fake bolt?

Lowering bones would have no effect on that cover. There's something else that is causing it not to go back on.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.
