Keep it. I have 160,000+ on mine, on my second engine. I want to make a lamp out of one of the jugs from my old engine.

Great read. Sorry for the BS you were put through. Another option to consider for the left overs is partsthief.com.

Whatever you do, you should be evangelizing the dealer that helped you out. They sound like a great shop.

Glad it all worked out for you in the end.

Looks like that is the current option. My youngest Son is planning on riding it to/from school as soon as he can get his permit and can convince his Mom.

Excellent idea !

Though, before I sell any of the parts, I have some new threads that I will post about the dis-assembled parts of the old engine. I want to show everyone and quell some fears based on what I see in the parts.

However, if anyone here is looking for a specific part, let me know which one and I'll take pics of it and will put them on a list, first come, first served.

Here they are, ... Simi Valley Cycles

They are a real nice team that works on your behalf. Everyone there is looking out for your best interest. The Service Managers name is Chris. A great guy to do business with.

Ride your bike, your way, at your speed, for your reasons. Never let anyone else decide who, where, how and why you should ride.
Ride for the love of riding and nothing else and every trip will be an adventure and a memory to be relived over and over.
