Fuel cap cover

On my wife’s 2008 C50T the sliding cover just broke off. Is this replaceable without a whole fuel cap replacement and a re-key job.
Thanks

Sorry to hear about this. I would suggest seeing if you can get another cap off of a salvage yard on eBay (with key if possible) and either use the parts the rebuild your own or just replace with the new cap. That probably happened with my bike at some point in the past, as I have separate keys for the ignition and gas cap.

Good luck and ride safe!

I had mine break too.
I modded it a bit. A little drilling, some grinding and a rivet and I got it back together.

There's a thread here somewhere where I posted it, but using the search function here, you'd have better results if you typed in "full frontal lobotomy" rather than "fuel cap".
