Excited.....new tires!

Just got new tires for my C50. The other ones still had tread but were about 4 years old and sun beaten and hard from the El Paso sun! I always get excited when I get new tires and forget what a difference new tires make. Got Dunlap 404s. My wife doesnt understand the happiness from new tires..... I guess I don't understand it either but my son feels the same way. Must be a man thing LOL

Oh God. Not dunflops. Dunflop is the only tire I took off my bike and threw away with most of its tread left. When the front tire washed out on a perfectly dry stretch of pavement and caused me to nearly crash, they were replaced the next day with Metzlers... Mr E's interstate crash came from Dunflops and tar snakes. Truly the worst tire ever put on the market. I really wish you new guys would ask before buying tires. Been there, owned that.

Well sorry you had that experience with dunlap's. I've had multiple bikes and I'm certainly not new to riding nor am I a young guy. Never a problem with those tires but thanks for your opinion

Not for a Suzuki, but I'm about ready to pull Dunlop E3's off the Indian, (still with lots of tread). Slid out twice in the rain the other day. They say the E4's are a much better tire, but I'll go with Metzler CruiseTech's. Had Metzler's on my Suzi & never a problem

I got caught for over an hour 2 days The slipping came in low speed turns. Taking a long trip soon & don't think I want to be worrying what my tires are going to do.
Agree, go Yankees ! out of Boston, quickly !!
