Lowered 2" now there is a leak

I lowered a 2002 Volusia 2" yesterday. There is an oil leak now. It looks to be coming from a seal around the drive shaft. Does the shaft need to be adjusted? Or is the seal a typical place for a leak? Thank you for the info.

I had lowered my c50 2.5 inches and no problems with leaks of any kind. I think yours my be coincidence? I have since raised mine back after riding it like that for about a year for other reasons.

Garage
Is it where the shaft goes into the rear housing? If it is, then a seal, would be all you need. If the seal is being replaced, most replace the circlip at the same time. While your at it, you should grease your drive shaft teeth since you're already there.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.
