Question Compatible Parts List?

Hi folks, curious as to whether or not any one has ever done any compatible parts cross checking? Such as what fenders might fit as replacements for front fender?
What slip-ons fit? Seats?

I am in need of a front fender but donít necessarily want a new OEM one...

Thanks

Most folks who do customization generally use whatever they find on the used or bargain parts market, and with some crafting, they make parts fit.

On the other hand, Suzuki VL1500/C90 drive units can be swapped over to the VL800 machines, along with some specific machining.
The drive mod (DJ Drive) is the very best mod for the VL800 bikes, as it takes the final gear ratio from 3.63:1 up to 3.02:1.

Welcome to the site, pull up a chair, the beer is in the fridge
Very few, if any parts, from other motorcycle manufacturer fit the Volusia/C50. Then again if you are handy you can make nearly anything "fit".

So basically if you want to directly bolt something on you are going to end up buying Suzuki. You may be able purchase a front fender from one or two other places (there was/is a company that makes bobber parts but they cost more than OEM).

Any year Volusia/C50 front fender will bolt on any other year. For rear any Vol/C50 or M50 fender will fit but not the front because the forks are different.

Hello V0lusia,
Am I understanding you correctly in that I could take a rear fender off say a 2010 m50 (vz800) and bolt it on to a 2006 m50? No mods required?

Thanks in advance.
