'03 over to a '09 final drive fitment

is the final drive the same for all years? i have a DJ Mod in my 2003 volusia and want to swap it over to my 2009 C50T. doable?

Am asking before we tear them both down and find out it won't work.

if you've ever done the mod you know the broomstick trick can make you want to tear your hair out if the teeth don't mesh easily

Yep, it will slide right in. (If your lucky)
