First, make certain that the drive for sale is either a C90, VL1500, S83, or VS1400 drive.
Second, You didn't disclose what the price was for the ebay unit.

Edit: I logged onto to ebay, and looked at a DJ drive for sale, and it actually is a DJ drive, or at least the driveshaft is shortened/sleeved comparatively as a DJ drive.
Looks like the main-seal has been leaking a bit, so You may want to request to have that seal replaced, before committing to buy the unit.

There are a couple of members that sell complete drop in kits for $400-$550.

yes if bidding stays low

Don't be a dummy and ride unprotected, it's like picking up a prostitute without bringing a condom along for the ride.

DJ Drives are one of the most common mods done on these bikes. Did mine a couple of seasons ago and am very pleases with the results. Not gonna make it a highway cruiser, but reduces some of the buzz at higher speeds and gives better gearing in the lower end.

Look for Cory on this site. He has done a lot of kits for members. Good person and a quality product.

Welcome to the forum, Lostloner1.

Corey is the member I've most recently seen supplying DJ drive kits. Here's how he can be reached.

At other times, members Motiv and, less often, Mikey have them available. Keep your eye on the Swap Meet section.
