That tappet bolt holder you speak of-make a hillbilly wrench or redneck wrench from a credit card plastic. That is what the big boys around here use. someone might have the ole Briman instructions around here for that wrench.
Well gollee! Never thought about cutting a slot in a credit card. That's a good idea! One of those head slappers - why didn't I think of that.

Wow, sounds like brass feeler gauges are non existent down there. Before you guys buy the set, take a look at them as they do come as a mixed set and may be hard to see in a closed set or package. The brass is soft an bends perfectly and easily.

Hawaiian for James. Picked up the nickname when I had that government job in Hawaii. Had to quit the job though. Olive drab was just not my color.

Hilimano near Schofield Barracks, out in the pineapple fields behind the Dole pineapple stand. Was there from Sept. 67 until Dec. 70. Sounds like you know the place.

I only know the place because I'm from Hawaii. Was so weird to TDY at Hickam while in the Air Force and watch the monkey's do the nasty at Pearl City Tavern.

You are from Hawaii and now you are in Indiana. I'm from Indiana, was stationed in Hawaii, did TDY in Viet Nam and now I'm in IL. Our daughter was born at Tripler. We talked about staying in HI. but I was tired of living on an Island. Spent most of my time in HI on the North Shore and Waimaa (sp?) Bay. Loved the beach and surfing. Probably not this year but maybe next year we want to go back.
