Welcome from Kennesaw GA!

After so long out of the saddle I'd highly recommend taking a rider training course. It'll help keep you alive out there.

Welcome to the forum! Don't listen to anyone about OEM pipes - just get an aftermarket set, ride for a year, and put the OEM back on )) You might like it though... By the looks of it, most people did that here. My bike came with V&H when I bought it used, and after 8 months I gave up and started the process of going back to stock.
+1 on Motorcycle Safety class: definitely a good idea for everyone, not just returning riders. A lot of veteran riders take it every year, just to refresh their skills.

Thats true.... what's good for me doesn't mean it's good for everyone. Customize the heck out of it enjoy it, and tell us what you like and what you dislike. Congrats again!

Happy anniversary. Keep up the fight. It's your bike, only you know what you like. If in doubt about something ,just ask. It's probably been tried .

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.
