2008 Blue/Silver Beauty!

Hello Everyone! My name is Keith and I just purchased a 2008 Boulevard C50 with 6,900 miles, non-dealership in Illinois. I originally had a 2006 GSXR-1000 that I loved and had 6 great years on but I decided to get a bike that I could relax on and be comfortable! Of course I've always loved Suzuki's styling so I natural had to have a boulevard. I look forward to meeting everyone and sharing stories and information. It's great to be a member!! I can't wait to start customizing but changing all the fluids will be my first thing I do..... Just out of curiosity, what were some of the first things you guys did when you brought your bike home?

Greetings from Indiana.
Change your fluids and check the dates on your tires. They may still have plenty of tread, but if they're old ,they may be starting to dry rot.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.

I changed the oil rear axel oil and bought tires ,check out the dot number on the tires I am told the tires need replacing after 6 years due to the rubber rotting from the inside out, I have great tread on my tires now but they are over 6 yrs old and it hurts the wallet to replace good tread but when you only have two tires instead of four its worth the expense I would hate to die or end uo being crippled for being to cheap to buy tires

I was wondering why the frisbee was getting bigger........then it hit me!

I always thought the "I before E except after C rule was "weird" , but "Scientist" disagree ?

1st thing I did was start an argument with the wife so I wouldn't have to haul her fat cranky ass around
