Did I hear fine cigars?

I have an '08 C50.
Everyone makes me ride at the back because of my Morton Violators.
Longest ride: 1241 miles in 20 hours 15 minutes

Interested in a replacement gas tank, in black, but I'm cheap

Been quiet online and in the house lately while I deal with a strict diet of eating Chit...I mean some "marital discord". Ugh...and UGH!
I will be able to attend Wrench Party and May Bay this spring. Not sure about either Yankee's though ....damn "concessions" LOL.
At least, I get to keep the bike (which I've been spending a lot of time with in the driveway...call it a "dual coping mechanism").

I am working on a new top case idea, which will require a different passenger backrest. Did I hear someone say "Mig Welder"? I found this nice and cheap on eBay but I need some help welding on a piece to attach it to the pad I already have. What do you say Capt?

Please and thank you!

Sorry to hear about the new diet Mr. J. Been there and done that. First wife just didn't understand the passion for cars and bikes. Guess that's why she's the first wife. LOL. Second wife was a gift from God that is supportive of my hobbies and is a true partner in every sense of the word. May not ride, but is sensitive to what makes me happy. Hope the "concessions" aren't too onerous and we'll be happy to see you at whatever you can make.

Sorry your dealing with the "Chit". Cave is always open should you ever need to get away for a bit.

As far as welding the backrest goes, it all depends on what type of metal the was used on the cheap e-bay backrest. Does a magnet stick to it? Actually, does a magnet stick to both parts??

I wish you all, and I mean ALL, the best, Ken. Gonna be a grind waiting until then to have it done, but it's a terrifically gratifying surgery, I assure you.

If I can answer any questions for you about what to expect, just ask.
