Don't know where to start....

All my life I've been a "giver" and never a "taker".

After the fire we've had so many offers from many people trying to help us out in our time of need, and we were just too dam proud to accept it. "we're all set" is my standard answer....even when we're not.

We had already made a list of things we were not replacing due to the depreciation of some of our belongings, having the unknown costs we may be up against during the rebuild that starts Monday.

Your generosity will definitely make us sleep a little better at night, and takes some of the worries away.

You all certainly pulled this one off on us, this was just unbelievable, and probably the most perfectly executed plan to get us to accept the help we have been turning away for the past 2 months.

The timing was perfect, right as Jeff opened the grill with the onions, I somehow got some of that onion smoke in my eyes....that's why they were watering...that's my story and I'm sticking to it

Thank you from the bottom of of our hearts to everyone.

We love all of you, and look forward to seeing you all at Xmas.

Jay, you and Michelle have done alot for all of us in the VR group. I met you and Michelle back in the summer of 2007, all I can say is you two are the most generous, helping, giving people that I have ever met, I'm glad you guys accepted the help.

Thank you Chris and Mike, for coming up with the donation idea and collecting all the money.

Thank you Jeff and Maria for putting together this great BBQ, and Maria taking the time to make separate dish's without onions. Everything was great, and very appreciated.

I'm glad the cat wasn't let out of the bag, and everything worked as planned!
