So how fast do you cruise?

The wife and I just took a trip Savannah and back this past weekend. I stayed in the 80-85mph range. It was a big adjustment for me to cruise at higher speeds on a cruiser as I always felt I would blow the motor up.

All the way up to the flow of traffic and then about 5mph faster if I can.

The C50 engine will start to scream louder and louder as you get it past 60mph but it can handle it. At around 85 you were pretty much at the top end of speed on the bike but you weren't doing any damage to it. There's a rev limiter, trust me on that one , so you can't push it past the red line, and it won't go fast enough to hit the rev limit in 5th gear. Let not your heart be troubled, you're safe no matter how you ride.

I ride at whatever speed it takes to find my pocket where there's no one around me to take me out.
Then I just stay at whatever speed it takes to maintain the pocket.

Thanks it upgraded from an 1100 so it's been a blast to have the extra engine

Oh, hell man, with a C90, you should be good to go. That motor is barely working at 85mph.

Typically around 80, occasionally 90, and I have been known to motor along at a 100.

I usually ride about 5 mph over posted speed. Everyone has their own riding style. I’m more laid back
