Ew! The Indian Springfield is pretty neat too! I wouldn't mind having one of those in my garage. So many bikes...so little space/time/money. LOL

Everyone knows that the correct number of motorcycles to own is N+1, where N is the number of motorcycles currently owned.

went to pick up my mc at the shop a few years ago...around sept...getting it checked over for an upcoming week in the white mts of NH...Barb calls me over after I get done talking with the mech and paying the bill...she's pointing at a used Venture on the showroom floor, low miles, all the bells and whistles...salesman/friend (sold me my first Volusia 15 years ago...strolls over and tells me "know the owner well..real anal kind of guy...loved the bike just never had the time to ride....with your bike, I could make you a deal that would be hard to pass"...Barb wanted to sit and talk...I told her we came in to pick up my bike, not leave with a different one and another monthly payment"....today, I would have sat and listened on that offer...things happen for a reason...they're meant to happen when they do indeed happen.

Whats the big hurry...slow down and enjoy the ride!

I noticed anytime you need to open your wallet is never the right time. It's about time you become a 1st class citizen and get a Harley

think most of us here know all too well...once you buy a mc...wallet is always open...on the mods alone I spent on my first bike... 04 Volusia... over the years, I probably could have fed the state of RI...now had that 1st bike been a HD...consider the cost of those mods to increase by about 40%...the added cost one pays for that HD insignia...so now we can feed RI and all of Maine.....

of course if I did indeed purchase a Hd...then of course, the next needed purchase would have to be a trailer to take the HD to wherever I'm going...food for thought beez...how come 99% of the bikes you see on a trailer are HD's...

1. recently purchased and taking home
2. broken down, taking home
3. recently washed and polished, don't want to get it dirty
4. didn't really buy it to ride...rather just sit and admire it, maybe even place a full length mirror next to it and spend the day staring at himself sitting on it...
5. owner doesn't ride... no mc license... but tells everyone he rides a HD...yep...ain't she a beaut.

you got a trailer beez...I'll gamble and say you're #4....loser....

That was hurtful Dennis. I trailer instead of riding 4 hours or more on an interstate and usually do it after Belinda gets home from work and we leave at 5pm or later. The bike can do it and your logic is full of sh1t

Split the difference and get a chieftain!

Keep your rubber on the road and your feet on the pegs and have a good ride.

Peace,
Bigbert
