The only thing that doesn’t add up is how beat the windshield is compared to everything else. Anyone like one brand over another for replacement? I need to replace it ASAP it’s that bad. Normally I would just sell it when it’s time to change the oil, but I think this one might just stick around.

Does Cee Baily make a windshield for it? (Not even sure if they are still in business).

Edit....just checked, Cee Baily stopped making motorcycle shields a couple of years ago....too bad, they were high quality shields.

They are sticking to airplanes.

It may not be age that has caused the windshield to deteriorate. If the PO used windex or just wasn't careful cleaning it or treated it like a glass windshield that may have caused the clouding. Take the VIN to the dealer and make sure all the recalls have been performed. There were a couple concerning frame cracks on that model year.

If you like the stock windshield then you should be able to find good ones on Ebay from folks selling their take offs. If you want a taller windshield that you look through and provides better wind protection for your passenger then check Slip Streamer look under OEM replacements on their web site.

Ouch frame cracks, I never thought of that. Thank you. I’m on it. If all is good maybe I’ll just have them replace the windshield.

Update: I checked the recalled list of vin numbers on the Honda website and it looks like I have an earlier 2002 and the problem started later on in 02. My vin number is not on the list.
