Your Sta-bill should be fine no problem at all. Mine says it keeps fuel fresh up to 12 months.

more Sta-bil doesn't extend the service life of the gas in the tank ...

I picked up my 2016 today from the garage which has had 2 doses of Sta-bil in the tank since I couldn't really remember if I had some in it already or not.

Now, after 8 months of sitting, the fuel pump had some priming issues.

First turn of the key the fuel pump primed less than a second, the FI light started blinking and F1 or FI was displayed.

After cycling the ignition 4 or 5 times the pump started priming fine as usual.

Was it the double dose of stabil or the gas or simply none of these two factors at all - I don't know.

First 60 miles done - bike runs as good as the day I parked it in the garage - even with the 8 month old fuel (which was premium fuel.)

better solution to the question...leave the bmw at my house...I will ride it daily...and promise to keep fresh gas in the tank at all times...can't guarantee the mileage won't be in the 6 digits when you come back to take it home tho….just another option Snake...hope the recovery is going well.

Whats the big hurry...slow down and enjoy the ride!
