Why would that be? I think a lot of "us" (not me, I didn't own it long enough), wished the opposite was true but ended up with dead bikes at a fairly young age. It's good to see someone getting good life out of the bike. It is what these bikes always should have done. Last 100,000 miles or more. What you see is just a lot of skepticism because we have seen so many people say it's just how people care for them or they are riding them too hard, then their bike bites the dust a lot earlier than expected.
