I purchased a '09 M50 a couple of months ago from the original owner with 1,986 miles. Usual story, the guy went with his buddy who wanted to buy a bike in late '10 and end up buying one just like his buddies (sequential VINs). Impulse buy and only rode it occasionally. I replaced all the fluids and have now run multiple tanks of gas thru it with no issues. I had the same concerns as above, but so far all is good. It looks, runs and rides like a new bike.

So unfortunately, it was a no-go. The jeep has a few electronic quirks that we can't quite figure out (needs a new ECU probably), so he was hesitant to take on a vehicle like that.

We'll see if the vehicle sells this weekend.

By any chance, what IS decent mileage to be looking at for a bike around the 2006 year? What would b expected from a decent bike?

IMHO, any vehicle should be driven several (3k) miles per year. I put about 5k a year on my bike and 10k on my truck. Wish it was reversed.

I just came into a deal on my 2006 C50T last winter... It belonged to a family member who could no longer ride and was moving out of state and was gifted to me....
Long story short, it had 17K miles on it when I got it and I've about 2k on it since I started riding again a few months ago. It was well maintained and it's currently running like a champ.

I don't think the (high) miles really matter as long as it's been maintained as mentioned previously in this thread.

Man this looks exactly like the bike I traded in in 2007 and the same mileage. Are you in South Florida?
