Does the modification prevent it from fitting the '01-'08 models?

I have a 2009 C50 and interested in purchasing the seat. You stated that the seat was modified to fit the 2009 and above and was part number 79283. The Mustang site shows #79283 for the 01-08 C50 and #79621 for the 09 and above. Did you do the modifications and what was involved? Thanks.

The modification was to re- drill the hold down to put it into the correct position to line up the bolts.
It has worked perfect. My cousin was the one who showed me what to do.
So now it will fit 01- 12 that I know of.
Hers was an 2012 and mine was a 2009.
