Ride report: Hawk’s Nest NY

Well known by those in the PA,NJ,NY tri-state area, Hawk’s Nest delivers superb views and a bit of twisties. The 70 miles of route 97 is a complete joy from end to end.

Another nice video. Thanks!

I'd planned to do the entire length of Route 97, and to overnight in Hancock, on our road trip last year. But the weather ended up being bad the week we'd taken off, and the trip was pretty much a bust. <Sigh>

Thanks for watching it. Maybe the whole 70 should be a trip this summer?

Thanks for checking it out. Maybe this summer you'll get a second attempt at it.

nice job on the video...been on that road for only a short ways thru the twisties overlooking the river...hard not to glance over but at the same time unwise to do so as cars coming in the other direction tend to be also looking over at the scenery and tend to cross the center line...will have to go back and do the entire leg.

Whats the big hurry...slow down and enjoy the ride!
